SPEED!

ADSL Broadband is fast, but how fast?  There are 3 different ADSL speeds, 256k, 512k and 1500k.  256k plans are 5 times faster than a traditional dial-up modem connection.  512k is 10 times faster, while 1500k is an amazing 30 times faster than dial-up modem connections.  This means that a file which would take 25 minutes to download by a 56k modem would only take 55 seconds using a 1500k ADSL plan.

CONNECTED 24 HOURS A DAY

ADSL Broadband has no time limits.  Unlike dial-up plans you don't have to worry about exceeding a daily time limit or being disconnected due to a session time limit.  Your connection is online whever your computer is switched on.

NO SECOND PHONE LINE

The only way with dial-up plans to use the Internet and keep your home phone free is to install a costly second telephone line.   With ADSL Broadband you can cancel the second phone line.  ADSL allows you to use the Internet and continue using your telephone line.  There are no dial-up charges with ADSL, therefore no calls are charged to your telephone account everytime you connect.

MULTIPLE COMPUTERS

With the right hardware you can connect multiple computers to the one ADSL service.  Purchasing an ADSL router will allow an almost unlimited number of users on your Argonaut ADSL connection.
